Can I use my camera with Wiral LITE?

It can be used with smartphones, Action Cameras, mirrorless, DSLR Cameras and other cameras that have a standard 1/4 camera screw and weighs under 3.3lbs (1.5kg).

How fast can Wiral LITE go?

Wiral LITE has a maximum speed of 45km/h (approx. 28mph).

How long is the line?

50 meter (approx. 165f). You can also buy a 100m (330f) line as an add-on.

Does it only work horizontally?

No, Wiral LITE can handle an incline of up to 30 degrees!

Can I swap the battery?

Of course! Though you probably won’t have to do it very often since the battery lasts for 3 hours! You can buy extra batteries as add-ons.

Can I use another rope than the one that is included?

Wiral LITE is optimized to be lightweight, userfriendly and portable. The device and Quick Reel™ are developed side by side to achieve this, and we recommend using them together. Feel free to experiment with a different rope if you want, but we can’t guarantee the results.

Can I crash my camera at the end of the line?

We have included electronic end stop assistants that can prevent this from happening. Simply mark the spot on the line where you would like it to stop, and the assistant will stop for you, making sure you don’t crash even if you aren’t paying attention.

What are the end stop clips?

The end stop clips are physical pieces that you can mount near the attachment point, making the unit derail instead of crashing.

Is shipping included?

No. Shipping fees depend on the country we are shipping your reward to. You can see the shipping rates when you choose a reward and check out.

How do I buy an add-on item?

See the add-on section on the bottom of the Kickstarter page. Pick an add-on and just add the price to your chosen pledge. We’ll collect details about your pledge when the campaign ends.

I have already pledged, can I still buy add-ons?

Absolutely! Through the Backerkit survey you can add any additional add-ons you wish. You can even buy an extra Wiral kit if you like!

What color is the line?

All backers the option of choosing between a bright yellow and a more neutral grey colored line Both colors will be available for the standard 164ft (50m) line and the long line 328ft (100m).

Where do I fill in shipping information?

Any shipping information we need is collected through the Backerkit survey. It will also be possible to purchase add-ons if you haven’t done that already.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
